The City of Auburn New York’s Historic and Cultural Sites Commission and community partners are proud to collaboratively celebrate LGBTQ+ PRIDE for the sixth year with programming during the month of June.

saturday, june 1

City of Auburn Pride rally

drag show + queer market

nys equal rights heritage center

9am-1pm

All are welcome to join the City of Auburn for the annual Auburn NY Pride Rally at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center & Auburn NY Visitor Center on Saturday, June 1. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., shop local vendors at the Queer Market with music by DJ Adam Paradise followed by a 12:30 p.m. family friendly Drag Show. This event is free and open to the public.

Auburn public theater

7pm

Spend an evening at Auburn Public Theater for dazzling performances and sparkling costumes for the Pride Drag Show. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Sponsored by the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. Purchase tickets here.

 

sunday, June 2

pride picnic at Tiffany’s

willard memorial chapel

2-4pm

All are welcome to gather at the Willard Memorial Chapel for the first-ever Pride Picnic. Sponsored by Wegmans, this event will feature light snacks, refreshments, music, yard games, and make your own stained glass mosaic mirrors. The event is $20 per person. Purchase tickets here.

 

friday, June 7

First Friday art exhibit

Seward House museum

5-8pm

Enjoy an art exhibit in the Seward House Museum’s gift shop by queer artist Blake Chamberlain, live music by Brian Francis, complimentary refreshments, and exhibits in the museum open for viewing. This event is free and open to the public. The art exhibit will be on view throughout the month of June.
